At the Lake With Blaneks
We have not been to lake county in ages so when Harry extended the invitation to head up to Cumberland, WI - we went for it.
The weather was in & out most of the day Saturday the 23rd, then finally went out for good around 5PM.
Lots of lighting challenges as the sunlight situation changed almost from minute to minute.

Of course it all cleared up after we left on Sunday. I feel an urge to apologize for bringing the bad weather! There is a 4-lane bowling alley in town and the young people wanted to go. Too late, they were closed! Off to the Spot Bar instead where they played pool whilst the oldsters sat and schmoozed.
Lots of cruise talk. The youngsters were a stitch:

So no opportunities for sunset/sunrise pics although I got up at the crack of dawn Sunday anyway. The lake was fogged over so I took what I could.

The most unusual thing is that I was the first one up in the whole house. I am rarely first in that regard.
Sunday morning after a fabulous breakfast, we piled into the vehicles and went to town to contribute some more to the local economy.
The gift store had lots of stuff to photograph but presented some more lighting challenges. A mixture of natural, flourescent and incandescent lighting. The flourescent (green) light seemed slightly dominant so I set the white balance accordingly but these images still needed some Photoshop help.

I do hope Karen and I get another opportunity but this cabin is shared by more than one family so who knows.
